Full management in Nurseries

Full management of public schools for small children 0-3.

Since 2002 Ziga-Zaga carries out the management of various municipal nurseries in different populations. During all of these years we have learned and improved continuously our services.

We allways work in coordination with other departments and public bodies. We coordinate and collaborate with other entities and/or services that influences in a directly or indirectly form with the education of children.

The professionals in our schools is qualified and involved in the project.

An open project, participated, integrated in its environment and in continuous renovation for attending particular needs and general needs what is generated.

Democratic, pluralistic, socially responsible, inclusive, open and rooted, respecting the diversity and the environment, with quality and able to prepare the child as a person.

The educational action: What aims and possible

The development and personal growth of children.
The formation of a balanced and positive image of themselves.
The experimentation
de discovery of the environment.
The discovery and development of the possibilities of his body.
The acquistion of habits to achieve a greater degree of autonomy.
The relations and communication with children and adults, using different languages.
The linkages and relations with corresponding basic patterns of coexistence and respect.

A participatory process

Involved in the whole school community: children, educators, other professionals and families, where the last ones are primarily responsible for the education of their children. For this reason we set goals and actions beyond exclusively for children.

Cooperation with families

The education teams at the school will follow a model of organitzational collaboration and cooperation with families of children. This will take place from the interviews, group meetings, daily contact, participation in some activities in the classroom and participation in specific activities (discussions, workshops, parties,etc.)
Also regarding the activities and participate in the school, involving them in the dynamics of the classroom based on specific activities during the development of programs, festivals and important moments for the school community.

Methodological lines to children

  • Active metodology, we look for the participation of children in the constant process of learning, integrating it into general dynamics of the classroom and in the acquistion and learning settings.
  • Manipulation and experimentation, to facilitate vivential knowledge, the transfer of obtained learning from one objects to the others and to see the effects caused by their actions.
  • The game as a  learning source, interpretation, channeling, expression and relation will be encouraged as an activity at school
  • The language, speech and hearing getting particular emphasis on the use of language, what we say, listening and putting words to make sense.
  • Global learning and meaningful, establishing relationships between prior knowledge and newly acquired acquistion.
  • Selection and progression in the program content agreeing with the maturity development of children, ensuring continuous education
  • Learning from the relationship with others, during daily dynamics and activities that promote the exchange of knowledge when experiences.
  • The daily activities, linked to the satisfaction of basic needs, will be the hub of educational organitzation
  • Organitzational flexibility to suit different needs or situations that may happens.
  • Adaptation of children, as a dynamic process that generates new situations and emotional ties.
  • Providing a climate of confidence and security.

Spaces and educational material

The organitzation of the spaces should facilitate autonomous action of children, the opportunity to explore, ask questions to yourself and venture posible answers. Educational materials are distributed into "learning environments", offering the child a wide range of opportunities to choice and giving the opportunity to choose independently what to do, where, when and with whom. The priority will be given materials of natural origin and for everyday use. The materials are selected according to criteria of educational, safety and quality.

Attention to diversity

The educational action assumes as one of the basic principles, taking into account the different rates of development and learning of children, as well as different interests and motivations and other aspects of a cultural nature

Observation and evaluation of educational work

The following of the development of the child, is based on the constant systematic observation. The observation will be made at different times with different objectives, at first in order to know the initial conditions of each individual child, a second to see progress and a single final evaluation that will be reflected in the report. In this process also will be evaluated: the adequacy of resources and activities, and learning goals. An analysis of the process are made new proposals.
